GIA BANGLE
The Base Metal
• Stainless Steel: As noted in your product description, the core material is 316L Stainless Steel. This is an excellent choice for a bangle because it is:
• Hypoallergenic: Safe for sensitive skin.
• Tarnish-Resistant: Unlike brass or alloy, it won't turn green or rust, even with daily wear.
• 18k Gold Plating: The "Gold" variant likely uses PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating, which is a vacuum plating process that makes the gold finish much more durable and long-lasting than standard flash plating.
• Alternative (Resin/Acrylic): In some versions of this style, a high-grade iridescent resin is used to mimic the look of shell while being more shatter-resistant.
Construction & Hardware
• Hinge & Clasp: The bangle features a concealed side hinge and a push-button "tongue" clasp or a tension click closure (visible at the top of the bracelet). This allows for a seamless, "infinity" look around the wrist.
• Precision Casting: The butterflies are integrated into the band via precision mold casting, ensuring the inlays stay securely in place.
